Those who oppose the introduction of water charges are asked to attend a protest march in Mallow this Saturday. People will assemble at West End at 1.30pm and will then march to the new civic plaza on Tuckey’s Hill, where speeches will be made. The ‘Mallow Says No’ group has held several meetings in recent weeks, and is hopeful that a big crowd of people from all over North Cork will go along on Saturday to express their opposition to water charges. All are welcome, but the group stresses that party-political banners will not be allowed.
