Mallow Maths and Science Fair received a funding boost this week when Deputy Seán Sherlock announced that it will receive a $5,000 contribution towards the cost of running the event.
Commenting on the funding boost, Mr. Sherlock said:“Mary Sugrue, the CEO of the Irish American Partnership, which is based out of Boston, has confirmed to me that they will make a donation to this very worthwhile annual initiative. We are bowled over by the generosity of Mary and her team. This is such a generous donation and will have a tremendous impact on making this wonderful event even better.
“This is a testament to the valuable work of the Mallow Development Partnership. The MDP is a key driver for voluntary effort that delivers projects of this nature. It’s important that the Partnership remains a core part of social and community development in the Mallow area. “This gift is a real vote of confidence in the work of the MDP.”
