Nazareth House was the venue last Wednesday night for the launch of a lottery as part of the Nazareth House Redevelopment Project, the aim of which is to raise €4 million to help fund an ambitious building plan. For only €2 a week, or €100 per year, people can take part in the lottery and help towards the plan to provide residents of Nazareth House with a new home. The first draw will take place next Wednesday, 17th August, and to play, people can choose four numbers for a chance of winning €100. If the lottery is not won, €100 is added each week until someone scoops the jackpot. As well as the jackpot, people who match three numbers will win or share in a weekly €100 prize, and if there is no match three winner, two lucky dips of €50 will be given out.
There are two ways of playing the Nazareth House lottery, by buying tickets from local sellers, or by playing online at www.thenazarethhousecarefund.com/lotto.
The Nazareth House Sisters have been in Mallow since 1930 and are hugely-valued members of the local community, providing a caring service for generations of people. Please support their fundraising efforts, and who knows, you could end up €1,000 richer!
