A feast of hurling at the Gaelic Grounds this Sunday

All roads will lead to the Gaelic Grounds this Sunday for a hurling double-header, with Garryspillane and Murroe-Boher clashing camáns in the Intermediate County Final at 1.30pm, followed two hours later by the Senior County Final between Kilmallock and Na Piarsaigh. In the intermediate final, Garryspillane are chasing a first major success since blazing a trail to county senior hurling glory in 2005, while Murroe-Boher are bidding for a first county title since being crowned intermediate champions in 1999, and in the senior decider Kilmallock are bidding to become Limerick senior hurling champions for the 12th time, while Na Piarsaigh are aiming to take the Daly Cup to Caherdavin for a fourth time. Two great games are in prospect, and Matt O’Callaghan’s Big Match Previews can be seen on pages 79-83 and 85-87.
