ADARE MANOR TO REOPEN THIS THURSDAY

The J.P. McManus-owned Adare Manor resort is set to open its doors this Thursday following extensive upgrading.
It closed early last year and has since undergone major refurbishment including a newly constructed 42- bedroom wing, bringing the total number of rooms to 104.
Standing in over 800 acres of parkland, the resort will now have a new ballroom for up to 350 guests, and will be able to cater for weddings and conferences. A new spa, swimming pool and cinema are new features of the original building which has also been fully refurbished.
Walled gardens, walking trails and facilities for fishing, cycling and other activates are among the features of the extensive parkland.
The Adare Manor golf course, which is due to re- open early next year, has been completely rebuilt and redesigned by golf course architect Tom Fazio. It will feature SubAir technology which creates an excellent putting surface.
Up to 300 jobs have been created at the new facility.
