Congratulations to Tommy Walsh of Mallow Handball Club, who won the U15 Doubles All-Ireland Handball Championship last Sunday at the National Handball Centre in Croke Park. After a great showing in the County Championships in January, Tommy was selected for the Cork panel and teamed up with Boherbue’s Cian O’Con-nor. The pair went on to win the Munster Champ-ionship in February, securing their place in the All-Ireland series. They defeated a Tyrone pairing in the semi-final last Saturday and on the following day overcame opponents from Wexford to be crowned All-Ireland champions. A massive achievement. Well done, Tommy.
