AN POST RÁS ROLLS IN ON TUESDAY

Everything is in readiness in Charleville for the arrival of the big race next week.

The An Post Rás will arrive on Tuesday after-noon to complete stage three that will have set out from Lisdoonvarna earlier in the day.

The Rás is due in Charleville sometime between 2pm and 4pm and the cyclists and their entourage will overnight in the north Cork town before tackling the gruelling 183.6km stage four to Caherciveen on Wednesday morning.

The stop over is a major boost to the town and Charleville Chamber of Commerce have left no stone unturned in ensuring a huge welcome for the event and everybody connected with it. A crowd of over 1,000 is expected to turn out for the finish of stage three in Charleville on Tuesday afternoon.
