Ardpatrick NS had a peculiar, mixed bunch of pupils in school last Friday. Denis the Menace and Hermione Granger of Harry Potter fame dropped in along with Dorothy and her dog from the Wizard of Oz, a number of Spy Dogs, Cinderella, Goldilocks, Darth Vader and some Pirates of the Caribbean. It was all in aid of a good cause, the MS Readathon which runs for the month and the children are sponsored for the number of books they read and the money raised goes to the Multiple Sclerosis charity.
