The school organised its Christmas Jumper Day in aid of CMRF Crumlin on the 11th of December. We had a great turnout from both our students and teachers with many varieties of festive dress on display. Over €400 was raised by the school on the day, with prizes presented to the best dressed from each of the year groups as well as from the teachers and staff. Childhood illness takes too many precious moments of laughter, play and happiness. Christmas should be a special time for them no matter where they are. We as a school, hope that our effects can go a small way towards creating some magical memories for sick children this Christmas.
To end the day, our Management treated the whole school community to a hot chocolate and a treat to acknowledge everyone’s hard work in adhering to our Covid protocols and making CBS Charleville a safe environment for all. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this initiative, a great day was had by all.
