CHARLEVILLE AGRICULTURAL SHOW ATTRACTS MORE INTERNATIONAL VISITORS

Last year Charleville Show had many international visitors from America, New Zealand and Germany, and this year the numbers from abroad have more than doubled from last year bringing an economic boost to the locality.

There are 100 student judges coming from all over America to judge the dairy and beef classes on Saturday June 28th. The Americans will judge the animals on the Macra na Feirme system while the official judges’ decision will be final and the visiting judges will be marked on the result of the official judges.

Groups from France will attend the Show this year, and among the French visitors is a group from Oh La Vache Agricultural Show in Pontivy. The Chairman of the Show, President of the Dairy Breed plus the President of the Blond d’Aquitaine breed and several other people from this show will attend.

Last year Charleville Show had a group of New Zealand farmers attending, and they enjoyed it so much that an even bigger group is coming this year.
