Charleville GAA is ready for its biggest day

Charleville will be like a ghost town this Sunday, as the community decamps in force to Croke Park in Dublin for the All Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Final, with throw-in at 3.15pm. It has been a long road since Kildorrery last April, but the team has grown with every challenge, and they now stand on the biggest GAA stage of all, against Oranmore-Maree. Some fans are making a weekend out of it and will be heading to the capital as early as lunchtime this Friday to avail of some shopping, others on Saturday, and the vast majority will travel by rail early on Sunday morning. It will be a memorable occasion for players and fans to see the Charleville colours grace the green sward of Croker.
Match tickets are available and can be purchased at Centra, Limerick Road, and SuperValu Charleville.
