Pearse’s talks combine down-to-earth practicality with the vision of a better childhood for all. Croí na Coille, Primary School Croom, is a co-educational, multi denominational, child-centred primary school embracing the principles for Steiner/Waldorf Primary Schools in Ireland. The school concentrates on developing the whole child, emphasising the vision of a better childhood for all and the importance of physical, emotional, social and spiritual development as much as intellectual development. The unique facility delivers the National Primary School curriculum combining academic learning with outdoor play and Forest School activities. The long-term goal for the school is to achieve recognition from the Department of Education and Skills and follow the path of Croí na Coille Primary School which concentrates on developing the whole student.
