All Ireland 60×30 Senior Doubles Colleges Handball Champions, David Walsh and Tadhg O Neill from the Patrician Academy.
Two students from the Patrician Academy took the honours in the All Ireland 60×30 Senior Doubles Colleges Handball last weekend. Represented by doubles pairing David Walsh and Tadhg O’Neill, the Academy boys travelled to Castlebridge Co.Wexford on Saturday last where the talented duo beat Pauraic Mullan/Turlough Clarke (Omagh CBS) in the semi final and advanced to the final, where they faced brothers Cathal and Aidan Barry of (St. Colemans Claremorris). With a convincing win, the duo brought All Ireland Colleges Gold and the Senior Colleges Handball title back to Mallow and Cork. Well done, boys!
