A selection of Davis College students who received their Leaving Cert results last Friday.
Congratulations to the Davis College Leaving Certificate class of 2022, who once again excelled in the Leaving Certificate examinations, with three students achieving the maximum 625 points, while five got in excess of 600 points, and many more achieved over 500. From the school perspective, it was great to see the STEAM subjects such as Maths/Applied Maths/Physics/Engineering, DCG and Art achieving a higher number of H1s than the national average, testament to the staff, students and facilities in the school. We also want to congratulate the achievement of two of our LCA students who achieved Distinctions in their exams, reflective of their hard work and effort over the last two years.
While we delight in the success of those who achieve top results, we are equally delighted and proud of all our students, irrespective of what points they achieved. They all worked hard to secure their respective college courses/apprenticeships and employment and we are confident they will continue to do us proud into the future. We hope we have contributed to providing them with the knowledge, resilience, and skills needed to succeed in life. When the dust has settled on the results, the most important thing is that our students are happy in their chosen courses/careers and we wish them all well in their futures.
