Congratulations, cele-brations and excitement were the order of the day for the Sisters, residents, staff and volunteers at Nazareth House last Wednesday when the lottery jackpot of €10,000 was won by local business Munster Tool Company, and Nazareth House employee Lynda Saunders scooped the Match 3 prize of €100. Everybody enjoyed the great thrill of the big win.
Completion of the development of Nazareth House to a state-of-the-art care facility is scheduled for 21st, June. This has been a long and enormous project which is estimated to cost in the region of € 23,150,000. The Sisters and management would like to acknowledge the tremendous support that we have received from the local community, without which we could not possibly have reached this point, in particular the support of our residents, families, friends, staff and the amazing team of volunteers, fundraisers and supporters has been truly exceptional. We thank you all and hope you will continue to support us as we manage the debt and continue to build a truly wonderful model of living for older people in the community.
