Do you feel out of shape, tired and lacking in motivation? Would you like to feel healthier and fitter? Do you look at people jogging and think “I’d love to do that”? If the answer to these questions is yes, Mallow AC is setting up a ‘Couch to 5K twelve week training programme’ aimed at people who are complete beginners. Mallow AC coaches will guide you every step of the way during the 12 week training programme, with the aim of building your fitness so that after 12 weeks you will be able to jog five kilometres.

The Couch to 5K Programme will start on Tuesday, March 12th, with training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Annabella round-about, and Saturdays at 10a.m. in Doneraile Park. It’s totally free to take part and is aimed at complete beginners, and the objective is that after 12 weeks you will be able to take part in the Dan Byrne Memorial 5K in Doneraile Park on Friday, May 31st at 8p.m. Please note, this is for over 16s and beginners only!
