Free parking every Friday from 1pm and all day Saturday

Good news for motorists, there will be free parking in Mallow every Friday afternoon and all day Saturday, starting tomorrow, Friday. In a statement issued this week, Cork County Council said it was happy with the support of elected members to introduce this new initiative for a trial period up to 31st August, as part of the wider Mallow Improvement Strategy. It will complement an exciting programme of arts and entertainment events planned throughout Mallow town and Mallow Castle over the summer months, and as an added incentive to shoppers, Mallow Chamber is currently considering additional retail promotional offers. The council spokesperson issued an invitation to, “Come visit Mallow and enjoy all it has to offer, such as a wonderful array of cafés, restaurants, and food outlets, the best of fashion for all ages, and if you’re looking for a fun way to wrap up the day, why not pop into Mallow Castle, where you can play, enjoy a stroll, be amazed by dragons, and spot deer with royal connections in ancient settings.”
