Liscarroll NS held their fundraising fun run last Friday evening in Doneraile Park. The event was a great success and we were delighted with the turnout who came to run and walk. We would sincerly like to thank everyone who registered and took part on the night including parents, staff and people from surrounding parishes. It was great to see such a fantastic turnout. We would like to thank the Civil Defence for their attendance and special thanks to Mike O’Sullivan, caretaker of Doneraile Park for all his help. We would also like to thank Esther Fitzpatrick, Liscarroll AC for all her help and advice and Anne Murray, Dromina for the help with the permit. Margaret and Laura Mullane for the signs in the village and to Seán Daly for his help also. A very big thank you to Caroline and Liam Crowley who donated the refreshments on the night, the water, juice and chocolate went down a treat. Your generosity is very much appreciated. As this was such a successful fundraiser we would now hope to make it an annual event and would hope to make it bigger and better next year. Thank you.
