GAA quartet picked for Cork

Mallow GAA Club has much to celebrate this week after it was announced that four players from the club have been chosen to put on the famous red jersey of Cork this weekend. Cormac Murphy, who is well established on the Cork senior hurling panel, will line out at 4pm on Sunday in Semple Stadium against Waterford, while Padraig Buckley, Aaron Sheehan and Pa Herlihy will go there with the Cork intermediate panel to play Waterford at 2pm. The inclusion of Padraig, Aaron and Pa is particularly apt as the three have been friends and playing partners since their earliest days, and they even held a shared 21st birthday party in the GAA Complex a couple of weeks ago.
