Mallow Search and Rescue headquarters was the venue last Thursday evening for the launch of a Greyhound Benefit Night which will take place on Saturday, November 26th in Curraheen Park. The night was attended by members of the Colin Ronayne Memorial Fund Committee, who are organising the night at the dogs, and representatives of local businesses also came along to show their support. Cork GAA legend Jimmy Barry-Murphy attended to help with the launch, as did GAA stars Colm O’Neill, James Loughrey and Ray Carey. Thanks to Mallow search and rescue for hosting and providing all who attended with refreshments. A big thank you to all who turned up. With the launch over, the hard work starts to make this fundraiser a success. Tickets, dogs and race sponsorship are available now from any member of the committee. Ticket sellers would also be welcome, contact Aisling on 086 6000409.
