Hanoi in faraway Vietnam could be beckoning for a young Hazelwood College, Dromcollogher student this summer. Michael Keyes recently competed in the Irish Chemistry Olympiad at DCU and finished in a very impressive second place, picking up a silver medal. This is a chemistry competition in which students from Northern Ireland and the Repub-lic are selected to take part. Michael, who is a 6th year student, will now go forward to compete over the Easter holidays in a training camp where two students will be selected to represent Ireland at the World Chemistry Olympiad in Hanoi, Vietnam in July.
