Hollywood is coming to Charleville!

Have you ever wanted to experience the glitz and glamour of an awards night in Hollywood? Sample the magic when walking down the red carpet? Charleville GAA is delighted to ann-ounce that it will host ‘Hollywood Comes to Charleville’ in the Charleville Park Hotel in March. The event is guar-anteed to bring Hollywood magic to the community, as it will recreate iconic scenes from eight classic movies starring local actors and actresses (no previous acting experience requir-ed). Casting and rehearsals will begin in the next few weeks, followed by filming of the movies in locations across Charleville. The movies will be screened at a gala premiere night on Friday, 22nd March, in the Charleville Park Hotel. This event is a critical part of the ongoing develop-ment plan for playing pitches for the club’s many players from juvenile to senior level.
An information evening will be held on Friday next, 11th January, at 7.30pm in the Charleville Park Hotel, because at least 80 volunteers will be needed to take part in casting for eight different movies, with support also needed in areas such as volunteering, sponsorship, fund-raising, and behind the scenes support. Follow the group on Facebook/Twitter and Instagram for regular updates.
