The opening night of the much acclaimed Ballyhoura CCE Hup na Houra Summer Show turned out to be an outstanding success in the Old Chapel Rooms in the Protestant Church in Kilfinane on Tuesday night of this week, writes John Barrett.
Thanking everyone who supported the event and all those who helped out in many different ways, Ballyhoura CCE PRO, Sarah Gleeson told the Vale Star. “The show was fully booked out and we even had twenty people from New Mexico, along with some other international visitors as well who came to see the show and stayed in the town.”
“The numbers have far exceeded our expectations, and things are looking great for forthcoming shows as well.
“These will continue each Tuesday night until 23rd August. The show starts each at 8pm in the Old Chapel Rooms, Kilfinane.”
Hup na Houra was the subject of a recent special feature in the Vale Star.
