Jack Ahern makes debut against England

Jack recently made his debut for the Irish Schoolboys’ Under 18 team in a match against England held in Walsall last week. Jack, who plays his football out of Tramore in Co. Waterford has also represented both his county and province this year and has played with the Tramore senior team since he was 16 years old.
His father, Austen, will be remembered in these parts having graced the football and hurling fields for Mallow GAA from juvenile to senior level. Austen’s contributions extended to the county level where he proudly represented Cork at both under 21 and senior levels.
Jack’s grandparents are Mary and Tom Ahern from Blackwater Drive, Mallow.
