The Joanne McMahon fundraiser for the National Burns Unit in St. James’s Hospital in Dublin will be held on Sunday April 17th 2016, the date set aside for the walk, run or cycle, followed by a thanksgiving Mass in Castlemahon Church for this most worthy cause. Joanne was the victim of a horrific accident in May 2014 which required her to be a patient in the National Burns Unit for over 4 months. She is still attending this fantastic unit weekly for ongoing treatment. This is the reason why herself, her family and her many friends have launched this fundraiser for the National Burns Unit.
