Mallow Castle is the place to attend this Sunday as Kanturk Mallow Municipal District holds a day of free family fun in the lovely historic grounds.
Picnic in the Castle was first held last year and attracted capacity crowds of all ages, and Cork Co. Council is inviting every-one along on Sunday for what promises to be a wonderful afternoon, with performances and workshops from Centre Stage Drama School for tots to teens, Billy Bubbles Magic, Punch and Judy shows, Circus Outside the Box, face painting, music and more! Elected members and staff of Kanturk Mallow Municipal District are happy to develop these events in the castle to promote the rich heritage, cultural and public amenities available in Mallow and North Cork, and to promote the district as a visitor destination and as a place to live, work and enjoy.
