JUST A WEEK TO GO TO MAJOR FIGHT FOR FIONN FUNDRAISER

There is just a week to go before the biggest fund-raiser to date in the Fight for Fionn campaign, the LipSync Battle which takes place in Charleville Park Hotel on Friday May 26th.
Fight for Fionn is a fundraising campaign for a little three year old Bally-hea boy who is fighting a rare disease. Fionn Barry has spent most of his short life in hospital battling the debilitating and life limiting illness which requires 24 hour care.
The teams taking part in the amazing LipSync Battle fundraiser for Fionn on Friday 26th of May are putting in a trojan amount of work and it is set to be a fantastic production.
This week a star studded line of judges for the event have been announced by the organisers. It will be a panel of four judges  made up of Keith Hanley the winner of RTÉs The Voice of Ireland 2013, Maeve Dennehy, owner of Love Cherish Boutique, Charle-ville, Brenda Dennehy, Producer of The Opinion Line on Corks 96FM and Richard Lynch, who  is a presenter, producer, songwriter, and actor (I love Limerick).
Tickets now available to buy from the Charleville Park Hotel and also from Love Cherish Boutique in Charleville.
There will also be a sponsorship/advertising brochure available on the night and anyone who wishes to be included in this should email fightforfionnlipsync battle@gmail.com
Fionn’s family would like to express their gratitude to all the teams, their families and friends and every person taking part for their help and support with the event.

Coffee Morning
A Coffee Morning for the Fight for Fionn campaign will be held on this Sunday 21st May from 11.30am – 1.30pm in Ballyhea G.A.A. hall.
Fionn’s parents, Trevor and Brenda have been living in the parish since 2004, in a cottage which is sadly totally unsuitable for a little boy with complex medical needs. The family desperately need to start the extension and adapta-tion to the cottage this summer and with the help and support from the local community this is soon to become a reality. Fionn will be 3 years old on 6th August and unfortunately needs a lot of specialised equipment which does not move easily through the narrow cottage doors and huge amounts of storage for the vast quantity of medical supplies etc.
Martin Moloney and Chloe Daley are taking part in the Lipsync Battle for Fionn and as part of their fundraising effort they have chosen to do a Coffee Morning to help Fionn and his family achieve their dreams of a safe and suitable home.
Many thanks to Jenny Fitzgerald who is so kindly providing some baked goods on the day. The organisers would also welcome baked goods from anyone else who would like to contribute.
Fionn and his mum Brenda will be in attendance and are very much looking forward to meeting everyone.
