Mallow hurler Kevin Sheehan, who played last weekend in the Intermediate Hurling Championship, celebrated a major milestone as he recorded his 100th first team championship appearance in both hurling and football since bursting onto the scene in 2009, playing senior football and intermediate hurling, having also played in the All Ireland Minor Football Final in the following year. Kevin’s century of appearances is a remarkable feat that has not been achieved by any other Mallow man in club history, and it represents a fantastic accomplishment and a testament to Kevin’s commitment, dedication and longevity with Mallow. He has been a remarkable servant to the club, which congratulates him on his achievements, and looks forward to many more games where he wears the red and yellow of Magh Ealla.
