Killeedy Youth Club are delighted to announce its upgraded facilities and equipment. Present at the launch of the newly upgraded Youth Club facility was Michael Collins, Deputy Lord Mayor of Limerick City and County Council with Youth Club leaders and members.
Killeedy Youth Club are most appreciative of Limerick City and County Council Community Enhancement Programme in granting this funding which enabled the purchase of new furniture, and sports and games equipment. Killeedy Youth Club provides a much needed fun and social outlet for the youth of our parish and immediate hinterland, for 12-15 year olds and has over 65 registered members. At the launch event we paid special tribute also to Cushla Moran and Bridget Cunningham who gave over 18 years service to the youth club for the benefit of the youth and they left a great legacy for the parish. Also present on the night were Joe Kelleher and Marie Keating, repre-senting Kantoher/Killeedy Development Group, who offered great support during the process.
