University of Limerick student Leia Wilmot was one of ten women who recently won a prestigious Johnson and Johnson WiSTEM2D award. The WiSTEM2D refers to women in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, manufacturing and design. Irish aeronautical engineer and award-winning stem advocate Dr Norah Patten presented the awards to the winners in a virtual ceremony.
