One of the most enduring sports events in Cork and Limerick is the annual Liscarroll Sports Day.
Founded in 1990 when a first meeting was convened, few people would have envisaged that 25 years later it would be going from strength to strength. This year alone, with numbers increasing and competition getting stronger, Liscarroll A.C. athletes returned with a very respectable total of fifteen from All Ireland competitions.
This Sunday, 9th August, the club will host its 25th Annual Sports Day at the local G.A.A. grounds commencing at 1pm.
