LOCAL TRAINING INITIATIVE FOR CHARLEVILLE

St. Joseph’s Foundation in collaboration with Cork ETB will deliver a training programme that prepares learners to work in the Intellectual Disability, Healthcare or Childcare sector. The training programme will be delivered in Mannix College, four days each week with work experience placement in St. Joseph’s Foundation or a crèche or a healthcare facility on the fifth day.

On successful completion of the LTI programme learners will achieve a FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare 5m4339, Early Childhood Care and Education 5m2009 and Minor Award in Intellectual Disabilities 5N1652.

Learners may receive a training allowance and travel allowance depending on their individual circumstances.

The LTI programme is full time Monday to Friday starting in February and ending December 2015.

An Information Morning will be held on Friday 16th January in Room 2, Mannix College, from 10am and 1pm.
