Mallow Camogie Club

A big well done to Rachel Sheehan, Laura Willis, Sarah O’Leary, Ali O’Shea and Orla O’Regan who were involved in the Cork Colleges School’s Blitz played in Mallow last weekend and performed excellently. All in Mallow Camogie Club are very proud of them, also apologies to Rachel whose name was left out of last week’s notes.

A quiet week on the pitch for our senior, U18 and U16 camogie teams with exams on but our U12s and U11s picking up the slack.

Our U12s played Newtownshandrum last Wednesday night in Newtownshandrum and despite playing excellent camogie were unlucky not to come away with the spoils. Our girls are playing Charleville this Saturday 9th June in Carrigoon with a throw in at 12 noon and must travel to Eire Og on Monday evening to play Eire Og with a throw in at 7pm. Support and spins very welcome.

Our U10s played Millstreet last Tuesday evening and had a big turnout with over 24 girls again turning out. A big day coming up for our U10s with a League Final v Doneraile this Saturday 9th June in Charleville. Throw in for this game is 10.30am. Please support our girls in Charleville.

Best Wishes

We would like to wish the best to all those who are sitting their exams.

We at Mallow Camogie Club would also like to wish our Chairman Billy O’Connell a very happy 50th birthday this Saturday.
