MALLOW CELEBRATES CORPUS CHRISTI

Mallow Corpus Christi Procession 2010.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the annual Eucharistic Procession cannot take place in its familiar form this year. To celebrate the feast of Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) today, Thursday June 11th, the Parish Pastoral Council decided to have Jesus in the Mon-strance brought around the town in an open-top car asking His blessing on all. It will be preceded by another car from which the Rosary, and various prayers and hymns will be led. You are all invited to stand outside your homes as a mark of respect to Our Lord and Saviour.
It will begin at 6.30pm from the Church of the Resurrection taking the following route and will end in St. Mary’s Church approximately two to two-and-a-half hours later for live-streamed Benediction on www.churchservices.tv/mallow
