Mallow GAA Cycling Group have finalised their figures for their recent charity cycle to Dingle. Our ambition this year was to try and exceed the €10,000 raised last year. It is our great pleasure to announce that the final figure was €13,000 which is a fantastic achievement and a great testament to the support that local charities enjoy from the town and surrounding areas.
We would like to thank each and every person who contributed handsomely to this great number. It shows the special place local charities have in the hearts of local people and it is great to see.
Once more we would like to thank all the local businesses for their support on the day, The Barry Group, O’Mahonys SuperValu and Centra, Mallow GAA Complex, Sheehans Fruit & Veg, Sheehans Butchers, Papa John’s, Pi Cycles. Thank you to the great support crew on the day and finally the wonderful ladies who provided much needed sandwiches at each and every stop along the way.
For the participants on the day it is a case of roll on next year, where we will get the opportunity to do it all again. Until then….….
