Mallow Junior Cup (handicap 8-15) ladies recorded a fantastic win over the in-form and much-heralded Douglas team in the semi-finals held on Saturday in Bandon. The golf was something to behold as birdies were made, pins hit, and greens made in regulation, as each match kept the large contingent of supporters on the edge of their seats in anticipation. In the end Mallow recorded a 31/2 to 11/2 victory and will go forward to the Munster Final against Castletroy in Dungarvan on Saturday August 27th.
