Marie O’Connor, a teacher at Hazelwood College, is currently cycling the Wild Atlantic Way. She set off from Kinsale last Tuesday, cheered on by her father and several neighbours and friends. She has raised over €11,000 for MS. Michelle Herbert and Denis McCarthy joined her on Sunday to distract from the torrential rain. Some days she is joined by other cyclists and supporters.
