The fifth annual Pride of Centra Awards ceremony took place in the Cliff at Lyons in Co. Kildare recently, where Centra personnel from across the country were honoured for their passion and commitment they have shown in the workplace in 2018. Mary Coughlan from Lee’s Centra, Charleville, was selected as a finalist in the Employee Award category. Commenting on Mary’s achievement, Ray Lee of Lee’s Centra Group, Charleville said; “The Pride of Centra Awards showcase the exemplary work undertaken by Centra staff members, who go above and beyond to ensure outstanding customer service. Over the years, Mary has built up an incredible relationship with our customers and she embodies everything that good customer service should be. We are all immensely proud of Mary’s achievement.”
Presented by broadcaster Sybil Mulcahy, the Pride of Centra Awards were established to acknowledge staff who demonstrate passion and enthusiasm in cementing Centra as the number one convenience retailer at the heart of communities across the country. With 11,000 Centra employees across the country, it is a significant achievement to be nominated as a finalist in the Pride of Centra Awards.
