Mick O’Regan Memorial Bike Run

What can we say – even the poor weather conditions didn’t dampen the spirit and atmosphere on the street in Buttevant last Saturday, 11th August, for the 6th Mick O’Regan Memorial Motorcycle Run in aid of Pieta House, the centre for prevention of suicide and self harm. The organisers would sincerely like to thank everyone who participated, donated, sponsored, entertained or contributed in any way to making the day the wonderful success that it was. 250 motorbikes signed in on the day!
Without your help it would not be possible to stage this event every year.
We would also like to congratulate Alan Butt from Ballyhooly, who was the lucky winner of the AGV Guy Martin helmet, and all the other prize winners.
We hope you all enjoyed the day and night. We are having our presentation night on Saturday 22nd September at Kit Roche’s bar, Main Street, Buttevant, where we will present Pieta House with the funds raised from the run and be entertained by the mighty No Warranty. We are looking forward to seeing you all again in the near future.
Thanks again for your continued support and generosity, it is greatly appreciated.
The organisers would like to thank the generosity of the people from Buttevant, Mallow, Blarney, Macroom, Kanturk and Charleville who gave to our bucket collectors.
