Munster Special Olympics Open Water Event

This event was the inaugeral Munster Special Olympics open water event hosted on Sunday 27th August by the Myrtleville swimmers who provided amazing support. Nicola Dwyer and Brendan O’Connor completed the 1500m swim while Dylan Aspel and Jason Buckley completed 500m. All swimmers are to be congratulated for this amazing achievement which saw Nicola, Jason and Dylan competing for the first time in open water. Brendan is an experienced open water competitor from Kerry All Stars and Nicola, Jason and Dylan are members of Mallow Marlins Swimming Club.
