Patrician Academy Graduation Day

On Thursday afternoon last, the Patrician Academy bade farewell to the class of 2016. Principal Catherine Fitzpatrick addressed the assembled audience of teachers and parents of the departing students. She wished them well in their respective futures and reminded them that learning is a life process. She urged them to take the opportunities that life offers and to use their many talents and abilities to achieve their goals. “You are the entrepreneurs and leaders of the future,” she added. “Whatever you choose in life, we wish you success and especially we wish you health and happiness on your journey.”
Following the principal’s address subject award winners were announced and Billy Walsh was awarded the coveted Jack Tierney Student of the Year Trophy to rapturous applause.
The Board of Management and Staff of the Academy wish the class of 2016 every success in their forthcoming exams and in their chosen career.
