Patrician Academy students donate 40 hampers to local causes

The Patrician Academy Student Council each year puts together hampers to donate to local groups, and this year they have distributed 40 hampers between the St Vincent De Paul, Le Cheile FRC, The Cope Foundation, and CDYS. The Patrician Academy Student Council has an annual tradition of making up hampers to donate to local deserving causes for Christmas, and this week the students, under the guidance of teacher Regina Glynn, put together 40 hampers which they divided between St Vincent De Paul, Le Chéile FRC, the Cope Foundation, and CDYS. The handover took place in the Conference Room of the Patrician Academy Sports Hall, and in attendance were Kevin Quilligan from St Vincent De Paul, Timmy Sheehan, Mark Twomey and Jillian King from Cope, Pamela Noonan from Le Cheile FRC, and Bernadette O’Connor and Sharon Doody from CDYS, all of whom were very grateful for the support of local groups by the Student Council in the school.
