Pattern cycle launched in aid of Ballylanders Church


A 60k charity cycle and fun run in aid of the Bally-landers church refurbish-ment fund and Limerick Suicide Watch, which is scheduled to place over the Pattern Weekend on Sat-urday 12th August, enjoy-ed its launch in the village on Saturday night.
The scenic cycle route cycle will take in South East Limerick and West Tipperary, starting in Ballylanders and then travelling through Galbally, Emly, Hospital, Knockainey, Bruff, Killmallock, Kilfinane and back to base via Glenbrohane.
There’ll be a pit stop in Knockainey for some light refreshments before taking on the second leg of the journey.

On return to Ballylanders participants will enjoy a barbecue followed by entertainment in An Puc Fada.
Registration for the 60km cycle comes with a fee of €20 while entry for a 5km family fun cycle/walk is just €10, with concessions for families.
Sponsorship cards will also be available for participants who wish to raise some extra funds or those who can’t participate but wish to donate.
