Paul Moloney from Mallow will travel to Denmark next Thursday, 3rd August, to represent Ireland at the European Masters Athletics Championships. A member of Mallow AC, Paul is current National Masters Champion in the 3K indoor event and has won various races over the last year representing his club and county. Last weekend he was in Morton Stadium for the National Senior Championships where he ran a personal best time of 15.29 in the 5,000 metres against the top runners in the country, and just missed out on making the final. His family and local club wish Paul all the best next week.
