Poetry launch for Focus Ireland

The Scattered Scribblers successfully launched a collection of poetry in aid of Focus Ireland on Friday February 23rd in the Charleville Park Hotel. The collection was officially launched by Vincent Browne, while Focus Ireland Representative Dick White spoke about his organisation and the work it does. Cllr Ian Doyle was MC for the night and music was provided by the wonderful Ceoltóirí Clarach. The Scribblers group members Donal O’Flynn, David Gormley, Fiona Fitzpatrick, Marie Kelly and Sr Bernadette Knopek were all delighted with the turnout and hope that continued sales will provide Focus Ireland with a significant contribution. The group would like to thank the sponsors of the launch night.
