On Sunday, November 8th an idea mooted by Alex Ott and organised by Dan O’Brien and Fergus Stokes, Master of the Limerick Hounds resulted in a huge fun ride in Milford. Despite very wet conditions over one hundred horses turned out. It was a very impre-ssive display and a most successful fundraiser.
However, all of this would not have been possible without the generosity of all the landowners who made their lands available. A special thanks to everyone who helped on the day, including the many stewards, ambulance and those who provided refreshments.
On Friday night, 27th November at Collins Bar, Milford, proceeds from the fun ride were presented to Shane Fitzgibbon by Fergus Stokes, Master of the Limerick Hounds. Shane thanked everyone most sincerely for all their support.
