The Kilmallock Area Committees of Limerick County Council, honoured William Naughton this week in the Kilmallock Area Office. Willliam was presented with a framed scroll to acknowledge his achievements when he represented Team Ireland at the World Summer Special Olympic Games in Athens this year from June 20th to July 5th. William came 4th in the world mens singles table tennis and 4th in the world mixed table tennis. William is a member of the Tipperary Special Olympics club, of which his mother Phyllis is chairperson. He has also won many other awards as a swimmer.
