PUBLIC COUNTER AND CASH POINT AT CROOM TO CLOSE

Limerick City and County Council has announced a number of changes to take effect at its office in Croom from Friday 31st October.

From 5pm on that date the public counter and cash point facility will no longer be available at the office.

The Council cited low demand for public services at Croom, which makes it unsustainable to keep it open to the public. The operational delivery of services will continue as normal.

The change means that members of the public will now access services at Limerick City and County Council buildings at Door-adoyle or Merchant’s Quay. They can do this by phone, email or by calling in.

Customers are being assist-ed in setting up alternative pay methods for services such as rent payments which can also be made at local post offices.

Limerick City and County Council is also contacting its individual customers regarding future arrange-ments.

Customers can contact the Council by telephone, 061-496000 or email customerservices@limerick.ie
