Red Cross 75th celebration this Saturday

The 75th anniversary of the Red Cross in Ireland will be marked with a Red Tie Ball this Saturday in the Hibernian Hotel, organised by the Mallow branch of the organisation. All ticket sale proceeds from the formal-dress event will go towards the Mallow Ambulance Building Fund. The Ball will start with a drinks reception at 7.30pm, followed by a 4 course meal, with music by the Skas, and a DJ. The Red Cross has a long and illustrious history in Mallow, and Saturday’s celebration will be a great opportunity for past and present members to get together.
