13 year old Askeaton teenager Robyn Moran swept the board at Cavan Home Pony International 4 day festival securing her the prestigious Leading Rider Award of the show. With over 500 ponies competing from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales she ended with an impressive record of 4 wins and 3 second place spots along with riding on the Irish team that won silver in the 138cm category. Robyn secured a treble on a pony bred and owned by her dad Brian Moran called Riot Del Pelguil and this is certainly a partnership to watch in the future, her fourth win coming on Western Oreo which she will partner in the coming weeks at the RDS Horse Show. Robyn and Western Oreo were presented with their rosettes by Kate Wachman from Coolmore Stud after winning the 1.20m jump off which was kindly sponsored by Coolmore.
